This six-unit rapid rate charger utilizes an enhanced charging algorithm that will help maximize the life of your batteries. This charger is fitted with PD02MT pods co***tible with batteries (such as HNN9628, HNN8148) for the following Motorola handheld two-way radios: GP88, GP300, GP600, GTX800, GTX900, PTX600, MTX638 and LTS2000. This charger is suitable for charging all three types of batteries Ni-Cd, Ni-Mh and Li-Ion. The unit has a qualification process before fast charge starts which checks each battery pack for temperature, over charged or discharged condition, and only when it confirms it is under the limits will the fast charge start, otherwise only trickle charge starts.
